Karlie works with people experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, stress, difficulties with emotion regulation, and challenges associated with neurodiversity. She has a particular interest in adjustment and major life transitions, including significant changes in relationships, family circumstances, identity, experiences of leaving or questioning a religious community, and changes in work or study.
Her approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practice. Karlie draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring therapy to each person's needs, circumstances and goals. She aims to create a space where people feel understood and supported while also developing practical strategies to make meaningful changes.
