I also offer psychological coaching for individuals without a diagnosis and and psychology supervision for provisional, general and clinical psychologists.

The first appointment is an opportunity to talk about what's bringing you to therapy, understand your circumstances and consider what you'd like to work towards.
We'll discuss your goals and begin to develop an understanding of what might be helpful. There is no expectation that you will have everything figured out before you come.

You may also be able to claim a rebate through your private health insurance, depending on your level of cover. Please check with your insurer regarding your eligibility and available rebate.

Medicare rebates are available to eligible clients in Australia for psychological therapy where the relevant Better Access requirements are met.
If you would like to access a Medicare rebate, you'll need to speak with your GP about whether a Mental Health Treatment Plan is appropriate for you. Your GP can assess your needs and, where appropriate, provide a referral for psychological treatment.
You don't need a Mental Health Treatment Plan to see me privately. If you choose to access therapy without a Medicare referral, or private health insurance funding, the full session fee applies.
Medicare rebates are not available for psychological coaching or psychology supervision.

Appointments are conducted via secure video consultation. You can attend from a private, comfortable location using a computer, tablet or suitable mobile device.
Telehealth can be a convenient way to access psychological support without needing to travel, and appointments can be accessed from anywhere in Australia.
Telehealth can work very well for many people, but it isn't the right format for everyone or every situation. We can discuss whether telehealth is appropriate for your circumstances during the initial enquiry.

Clinical psychological therapy is focused on understanding and addressing psychological difficulties, including mental health concerns and difficulties associated with significant life circumstances.
Psychological coaching is generally more future-focused and may suit people who are looking for support with personal development, decision-making, motivation, values, work, study or navigating change, without necessarily seeking treatment for a mental health condition.
If you're unsure which service is right for you, you're welcome to get in touch to discuss this.
